Hosted by local legend Mandy Nolan, this heat showcases the best, brightest and bravest emerging comedians from the Northern Rivers. Come watch them fly… or die trying!

Hosted by the amazing Ellen Briggs, this inspiring gathering will shine a spotlight on the achievements of women in our community and beyond.

We’re proud to welcome two outstanding guest speakers:

✨ Sarah Ndiaye, Mayor of Byron Shire and Greens member, who is passionate about environmental protection, housing access, social justice, grassroots democracy and nonviolence.

✨ Gemma Stanford, founder and lead designer of Arcaa. As the visionary behind the sustainable fashion label, Gemma has built Arcaa into more than just a clothing brand — it’s a commitment to timeless design and conscious creation.

Enjoy tea, coffee and a light breakfast while hearing from these thought-provoking speakers and connecting with others in the community as we honour this important day.

This event is proudly brought to you by the Mullumbimby Chamber of Commerce, with all proceeds donated to Women’s Resource Services @ Mullumbimby & District Neighbourhood Centre.

Calling all dancing queens, rock legends and shower singers! 🎶
This is your night to belt out the best of the 70s and 80s while you paint, sip and laugh your way through a fully hosted paint and sip party. Think disco balls, big choruses, guilty pleasure bangers and a room full of people who know every word. 🎨🍷 You will paint step by step with a host guiding you through the artwork while the playlist serves up ABBA, Bee Gees, power ballads and retro classics. Singing along is encouraged, being in tune is optional.

Sunday 28th September sees the return of Mullum de Mambo No 6 featuring Kwasi Bruni bring their deep Afro-Cuban dance groove back to the Mullumbimby Ex Services Club Bandroom.

Kwasi Bruni is an Afro-Cuban big band project led by bassist Barry Hill and Colombian Ex Pat Pianist Camilo Losada.

Barry met Camilo at a BBQ jam session in 2021 and had an instant musical connection.

Fast forward three years, and Kwasi Bruni is now a 11 (sometimes 12!) piece big band featuring some of the north coast’s finest percussionists and wind players.

Expect an evening of high Energy Dance music, salsa son and mambo, paying homage to the music of Cachao Lopez, and the other great Latin jazz and salsa big bandleaders of the 60s and 70s.

Special Guest DJ to be confirmed.

Catchy tunes, wild stage presence, raspy hypnotic vocals and stylistic power rhythm guitars fuelled by the epic engine room grooves of one of Australia’s finest drummers the legendary Beck Flatt with impressive Brazilian muso Vini Melo on Bass 🙂 Door open 5pm. Originally from Melbourne, Stephen relocated to Northern NSW a decade ago and has since become a sought-after act along the coast, from Byron Bay to the Gold Coast. As a Delta blues specialist, he channels the raw soul of legends like Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy, and Skip James, while also showcasing incredible fingerstyle guitar work inspired by Tommy Emmanuel.
Expect stunning acoustic arrangements of songs by Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan — all delivered with a unique touch and undeniable stage presence.
